Who is Lurch the Scorpion?
Lurch is a barely-vocal adventurer who travels the deserts and canyons of the world, looking for hidden nooks to sleep in, and tall cliffs to bask on.She loves to feel nature all around her, the rocks, and sand and dirt.
She exists, just to exist.
Design History
Lurch was my first ever OC, although she wasn't always called Lurch. I made her around 2004 or 2005, when I was under 10 years old, and at first she was just a recoloured sprite of Knuckles with a scorpion tail, pincers, and brown hair. I made her a scorpion because I loved scorpions as a child (and I still do!)
Eventually she evolved into a more humanoid form when I was a pre-teen, and I started to use her more to represent myself for a while online. But as I grew up, I stopped using her all together, unfortunately.
I started to redesign her in 2017, but abandonded the project briefly, then returned and completed her redesign in 2022. Her newest design goes back to her Sonic OC roots, and her artwork is inspired by my favourite Sonic game, Sonic Adventure 2.
