THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE ARTHROPOD!

I like the more popular Hercules Beetle species too (Dynastes Hercules) but I just love the smaller horn of the Eastern Hercules Beetle, it's so cute! I love how Hercules Beetles generally tend to look like an old banana. That's my favourite thing about them other than their horns.

Also known as a Hooded Mantis or Leaf Mantis, these Mantids are amazing because they really look like leaves from the back.

My favourite feature of the Shield Mantis is the big hood on their thorax, it reminds me of a cockroach, which is interesting because cockroachs and mantids are related (superorder Dictyoptera).

I couldn't really do this little ball of fluff justice with my picture, they are one of the FUZZIEST FLUFFIEST bugs ever. They are adorable, I love them and I want to give them hugs.

I just can't get over how fluffy they are, they're so adorable AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
